Hello I was wondering how I might be able to achieve an effect in my renders that makes it look like one character is peeling off a mask or suit of another character? I'm still newish to Daz, so I'm not exactly sure what the best approach may be. Essentially I'm trying to make something look kinda like this:
The only thing I can really think of is somehow splitting the geometry of a character and making liberal use of dformers...

I've not messed with it much yet, but dForce might be the way to go here.
Let's suppose you have a base G8M, and he's wearing a Michael 8 mask.
Obviously, for as long as the mask is on, you just use a Michael character.
When he peels it off, use a base G8M for the character, and add a second Michael to be the mask. Hide all Michael's surfaces except the face, and apply your liberal deformers and/or dforce and/or mesh grabber to pull the mesh this way and that. You should be able to get some plausible still images that way, you're on your own if you're doing an animation!
