Dual GPU: RTX + non-RTX combo?

Hi, I just got a RTX 2060 Super and I'm currently using a GTX 1070 with 8gb of VRAM. Since both have the same VRAM I was thinking about using them together but I have been told that way Daz wouldn't benefit from the new RTX stuff. Is that true?

The recent builds of DS will use RTX cards, andf the last couple will take full advantage of the new features (and use more memory on non-RTX cards as those need extra code to provide a substitute for the RTX features).
You don't need matched memory capacity to use multiple cards for Iray - each will load the fiule scene, and drop out if it can't, without affecting any other cards.
I've had a 2070 and 1080ti for quite a while. The 2070 definitely uses the RTX features.
Awesome! Thanks![yes yes](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/thumbs_up.png)
I considered doing the same if I did not sell my 1080ti after slapping in a 2080ti, but I sold my card pretty quick!
