Can I Save Strand Based Hair as Maretial Preset or a Morph?

I'm having a Problem saving Strand based hair i made as material preset. To recap:

I load a body attacment into a scene, create a new strand baced hair for it, style it, go into surfaces change color, etc. I save it as a matetial preset - it shows check marks for the body part and for strand hair object in the dialog box before I save.

Open a new project, load a figure, load body attachment that strand based hair material I created fits to. I hightlight it in the Scene pane, Find my preset in the content library, click on it, nothing happens.

Then I create new strand based hair for it again in my scene, after all you need hair object in order to use hair material preset, I high light strand hair object I just created, click on my material preset - Nothing Happends??? No hair.

What I'm I missing?

Use a wearables preset to save the item that the hair grows from. The hair is not a surface property so it won't be included as such in a materials preset, that is just saving the material settings for the hair.

Thank you Richard! You always come through!

Daz crushes when I do that, tried it two times. I am  beginning to see the limitations of this program.
