dynamic/dforce clothing

Ages ago I remeber using "dynamic" clothing, which involved using the animation timeline fundtion I believe. Now there is Dforce clothing which sounds similar. Are they the same thing?

    You're probably thinking of optitex dynamic clothing, which was a different system.

    They a2 different, but the process using the animation timeline is the same.

    So, if I had a dforce item and tried to use it the same way as I'd use a dynamic item on an older version of DS, would it work?
