I actually like a lot of the outfits that came with toon Dwayne.

This is the Bounty Huntsman Outfit.

The boots do appear to need a foot pose in some poses I tried. I will have to see if there is one included. There is a nice amount of detail on this set and it looks really slick.

The Elvis boots have a foot pose but I don't know if it works with the other boots in that Pro Bundle.

I've only seen such overalls in USA except in a music video called 'Come On Eileen' so I guess they wear them elsewhere too. Where they are wore at all they can be worn anywhere but to church & formal occasions. You'd want to change out of the rubber boots though. My uncle never wore anything else in public unless he & his wife were going to church.

Very common in the UK.  Normally referred to as Bib and Brace Overalls, available in different materials and colours,  such as white for painters  or Hi Vis for when visibility is a neccessity.

Oh, thanks for letting me know. I have a pair of that style but I got a bright blue pair when I lived overseas. You generally have to order that style here as it's generally only painters that still wear them but in white. Those are made of canvas. The overalls my uncle wore are denim.

    Jumper & Tim

4 pieces, shirt, pants, boots, and jumper. Really nice fit, flattering style and the boots have an 'open morph' The pants are great, and have tons of textures so you can make them look like jeans or work pants. I would grab this set in a hearbeat.

    King of Rock and Roll

Not something I would typically purchase, but I love it. Very nicely made. It deforced well, and all the details are really neat. Look at the beads and the cape. The quality of clothing in the Dwayne bundle surpasses my expectations.

This is common in farming areas where it is muddy or wet, and even amongst fishermen with a pullover.  We  have dryer farming here and the hands wear ball caps and hoodies.

The elvis boot foot pose zeros my figure. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but it doesn't seem to adjust the feet.

Thanks for the reviews! The Elvis suit is nicely done, but I just can't see where I'll ever have a use for it (unless maybe I do a Halloween party render).

I think Owen would wear that outfit for Boyd. Boyd is a Elvis fan. Although Owen likes things from the 50's and their home when they finally get one is retro chic with retro stuff. Both guys seem to like this time period and Owen likes to refurbish furniture and decorations he finds with things from the 50's as he is big on upcycling. Finding old things they can fix up  is something they do throughout their lives during various adventures.

    Sci-Fi Ninja

I really like the chest plate and the design of the pouches on the hips is really stylish. The helmet itself is quite creative and has elements of the classic ninja hood. If I could change anything- I'd make the boot 'clamps' less bulky. They distract me from the clean and sleek  lines of the rest of the suit. I like the thickness of the shoulder pads, and would've probably made the boot clamps closer to that in style. Overall this is a great suit. Nice work.

Aww thanks. I think mr Boyd Michaels looks good in everything. That is what a friend told me at any rate. wink Well there is one item a thong monokini.... neither guy looks good in it.

I have been far away from the thread converting and saving old m4 poses.

I own so many nice old poses but even with the conversion tools there are floaty twisty feet and limbs slightly off the ground and parts of the pose which gets lost in translation. Plus characters like freak don’t have an analog so I adjust them to work better with my figures.

converting them and saving them is oddly satisfying but I like applying a pose and having it work.

Unfortunately for some reason saving poses is fairly slow process. But the results are worth it. I don’t need to rebuy similar things and most of the base pose info is still perfectly usable in gen 8

Poor Michael. He gets no birthday celebration I guess. crying

Today I picked up this https://www.daz3d.com/cyberpunk-2047-outfit-for-genesis-8-females

i think the hotpants and boots might look good on males and perhaps the jacket.

Maybe he’s starting to lie about his age?

I grabbed it, mainly so I could get the freebies.  It's not bad, quite a few morphs - for the price, it's not bad.

I think the shorts look like they might work and the boots and perhaps the jacket, it is sad that I spend my time sizing up female content to see how it would look on the men. I know it will be a cold day in the hot place before the guys get another set of sci-fi hotpants.

Ladies clothing sales are artificially inflated by buying it for males.  The same with no indication, in promo pics, that the item's suitable for men.  Oh well...

Here's a quick shot of the cyberpunk, without helmet or shirt.  There's ample room in the shorts, too blush

Grr. Now I have to add to the female product sales inflation after seeing your render.

Dang is there no smoothing modifier on those shorts? Am I missing something?

You can add one easily if it isn't already there.

  • Serene NightSerene Night Posts: 17,651

Ah, I forget I can manually add it. I’m so used to modern content having this by default.

'Tis the Pumpkin Spice season, and Owen and Boyd celebrate by horsing around in the pumpkin patch.

If the colors had been switched on the pumpkins, I would have said it was Bert and Ernie. laugh

Yeah I think people do sometimes call Boyd Bert. He’s the tall one in the relationship.

It’s only an issue if one attempts fit fit the bikini over the male elements which Butch and I like to do. It fits over the bulge well without smoothing.

It does take the snoothing modifier too. So all is good.

This sale is doing a weirdly good job of presenting content to me where I'm thinking, "OK, like, 90% of that isn't anything I need or want. But that 10%....."

I mean, the Leony bundle looks like good work by Raiya and Outoftouch; I just don't have a need for any of it right now.

I just kind of ... want those shorts from her clothes. For the challenge of seeing what has to be done to get the Anatomical Elements into them, if nothing else, and what fun could be had with dForce after that. (I will admit, I do not understand the fishnet part above the belt. Not even a little.) (Also, I'm sure I could find some character willing to wear the top.)  And that's not a good enough reason to spend the money, I know.

    But still ...

I thought the shorts look good too. Women’s shorts tend to ride high on my male characters but those don’t look like they will. I suspect dforce would be challenging....

I’m trying to resist buying more ladies wear for the men but it is hard when that’s all there kinda is. If anyone buys it let me know how it looks wink

So far not much interesting me in the sale yet. I don’t really use gen 2 anymore so high discounts don’t do it for old stuff.

I, too, thought the same with the shorts, but I can't justify the cost.  I still haven't really tried dforce (I can't cope with the annoying "perparing" spelling mistake, that still hasn't been fixed) and looks like the belt's going get in the way of smoothing, seeing as they're so low on the hips.

  • Serene NightSerene Night Posts: 17,651

I haven'f found any added value to dforcing undies unless the character is not wearing them. They tend to bag like diapers. I would love a good pair of dforce undies for G8M.  Also some dforceable undressable pants would be nice.

In general men's clothing unless its loose seems to not need dforce that much. Maybe because in general they are wearing pretty tight pants.
