Genesis 2 figures do not accept clothes

I have tried to load clothes from the essentials package to the Genesis 2 figures. I have tried to clothe both the male and female figures and all that happens is that a dialogue box flashes open and then closes before I can read it. Then the figure is still naked. The only clothes that the figures accept are the "dancer" clothes for the female and the "surfer" for the male.
I have the essentials package that has dragon slayer outfits, a scifi wardrobe that occasionally loads and base underwear that occasionally loads.

I looked at the log and on the Locale: en_US line it says "No translator found"

How do I fix this?

I am running Daz 4.6 64 bit on a mac pro OSX 10.9.2

    Hello,

Are you sure you are adding clothes (wardrobe) and not trying to add materials?

positive. When I double click the item from the wardrobe panel I get a message box that comes down and goes back so fast that I cannot read it. the figure remains nude.
When I load materials or accesories which gives me access to more clothing options the same thing occurs. There are times when the clothes do work but I never know when or what will load or not load

What is the clothing item you are trying to apply?

If you locate the item in the Content Library instead of the Smart Content (Content Library Pane -> My Library -> People -> Genesis 2 Female -> Clothing -> (The cloth item), will it work?

I have tried to apply pants, tunics, arm bands, shirts, boots, shoes, flip flops. They dont seem to work. I look at the log window and this is what I see.

That has zero to do with if Content from the Content Library Tab will load or not. If you do not try the suggested things there is no way for a user to narrow down what the issue may be. This is a process of elimination. Will items from this folder load?

To get anything useful from the log file you need tow ait until after you've tried to load the clothes, then open the log file, scroll to the end and look at the last few lines (it should be clear when DS started to load the file).

    Jaderail,
I followed your suggestion of going to the tab an loading the clothes from there and it works. It just does not load from the content panel.
    Thanks.

    I have to retract that.

I am now building another scene. I followed exactly what I did yesterday and now the clothes will not load again. I have gone to the content panel, selected pants, shirt or material for skin and nothing loads.

This is very frustrating as all the instructions and tutorials indicate that all you have to do is open the content panel and click on what you want to load and it will load.

Another issue that has occurred is that I have lost the textured view of the figure. I cannot load any hair to the models either. I will attach a screen shot of the log. Maybe you can tell me what is wrong.

    Thanks

I still think you are often trying to load the clothing TEXTURES before you have the Clothing item loaded. The textures only Apply to the clothing when the clothing item is loaded and selected in the Scene Tab. The Same applies to adding a skin texture to the figure. If the figure is not selected the Skin Texture will not load and apply. That would make the short Pop up blink as the script file runs but could not do its job.

    Here are the Proper steps...

One have the Figure loaded and Selected.
two Double click a Clothing Item not a material... should have a Wardrobe overlay as shown.
There the clothing loads to the Selected figure
Four a Material for the clothing is ONLY needed if your material does not load or it has extra textures for that item.

    Jaderail,
Thanks for the tutorial. It works fine now. I was not loading the base for a material to attach to. Thanks for the instruction. It was clear and very helpful
