issue with annoyed black lines on model's forehead with hair

I'm so sorry in advance for possible noobs and trivial question, I really in doubt how to ask my question to find an answer thread: "issue with black lines atop of figure"?

Sometime I faced an annoying issue with surface of figures and (usually) their hair.

My normal DAZ installation a bit aged, so usually, in case of a problems I blame big heap of /data morphs. Some day ago I tried to reinstall all from scratch on a completely new workstation.

My DAZ3D is most recent (4.12.1.117), freshly installed, my Library and software installed completely from site using DAZDIM, all packages downloaded freshly from site (and only), all legal and bought from daz site. I installed only G8 (and some of G3 figures) nothing from aged G2 and older.

Unfortunately even on my first test render I saw this one on a model's forehead:
Same a saw in other scene with other model and other hairset.

Something wrong with my UVs? How to fix it?

Those artifacts are due to the skull cap for the hair intersecting with the forehead.

You can usually solve it by scaling the skull cap a bit bigger or by using a push modifier or a dformer to make it a bit farther away, so that they don't intersect anymore.

Yes, I'm using it actually, but it seems as workaround, but not a solution for me. Is it normal to playng with scaling for original models and haircaps and mature software? I believe not.
BTW it somtimes happened, and somtimes not, even with the SAME scene, after new load.

No software can produce perfect results all the time. Having to adjust the skull cap sometimes is perfectly normal, especially if you used the hair on a morphed and/or posed character.

Actually badly annoing there is a situation, when these artifacts visible only on render, not a texture shaded preview (used by default).

If you just go for grey texture preview, you often directly see the intersect, its usually the skullcap that needs a little nudge.
