M4 loads with no Morphs

Hello all,

I have searched to see if anyone else has had this problem for over an hour with no luck, So I am posting in hopes that someone else may have had this problem and solved it.

I am running Windows 10 64 bit.

I'm having a problem loading morphs with Michael 4. The POWERLOADER is automatically activated. The prompt window pops up in mid-process and asks wich sets of morphs I want to load with the figue. I select them but when the figure shows up, it has zero morphs. Not even the very basic ones. No morphs whatsoever.

Hope someone here knows how to fix this.

Thanks~

Where are you looking for them? M4 morphs should appear in parameters pane.

  • Thanks for the question.

Yup thats where they should be.

I've Attached a screen snip of my parameters tab. Micheal 4 is loaded and selected. You can see there are no Items for Morphs in the parameters list on the left.

Scratching my head as to what could be the problem.

Which morph set(s) are you loading? The M4 Base set only has morphs on the head, none for the body, they're in the Morphs++ Shapes++ package. (When did that name change?)

Have you ever generated the ExP files? It only needs to be done once, but is a necessary step. You can uncheck it for future use, or until you add a new set of morphs.

    Did you install the morphs?

Did you install via Connect, or DIM or something else?

You can not install characters previous to Genesis via Connect and have them work properly. It seems like your process, whatever it is, ought to work because V4 is working... right? But something is wrong here.

Connect doesn't give you the option to install them.

And the problem is only with generation 4 figures, earlier figures can be installed via Connect.

  • Thanks everyone for your responses. It has been years since I uploaded M4 that I can't clearly recall how he was installed. I know he is one of the few characters that is set-up to use the power-loader feature.

I've attached two screen snips to better demonstrate.

Northof45 and evilded77 - The images attached help explain that M4 has the poer-loader function and that a popup window asks which morphs I want to include with the figure. I've tried a few combinations and even all the morphs, yet M4 loads with none. He used to, but can't be certain when he stopped.

hope this helps to get to a solution.

    Thanks again.

  • Oh, Northof45 I've never gengerated an EXP file. Did it used to be called something else? (like Morph++)

    Yeah, used to be Morphs++

To generate the ExP files, change to the Advanced tab. It will be a checkbox at the bottom. Like I said, it only needs to be done once for all morph sets, so check them all the first time before continuing. Next time you load M4, you can uncheck it, all morphs will be available.
