I think it depends on what kind of renders you like to do. Lycanthropos got a few good add-ons that expanded his versatility but by todays standards, he seems to fit more in the toon category in my opinion. I think a creative person who has skill with the strand based hair editor could add more realism to him. I liked some of the morph add-ons, but if I remember correctly, there were some morphing/scaling issues when using him in DS, especially if you were to get NightWolf Plus.

How do you measure worth? Yes, it's an old figure, but still pretty unique. Add-ons are good quality, and with a few new tricks, you can improve the base. Here is a quick render of Ankida Shaman on a Lycanthropos figure using Oso Furry shader. (No Iray conversion on the outfit, very little tweaking on the Furry shader).

It doesn't take part in daz promoted sales because it is not based on the common figures.

never saw it in fastgrab either.

pity legacy figures don't get any cheaper. The shaders are most likely outdated

He's been on sale a lot over the last year. The lowest was $7.49 a couple times, and he's been down to $8.99 a few times. Both of those prices were hit this month. The other sales weren't as steep but if you keep watching closely, I'm betting there will be another sale for him within the next month at one point or another.

I have always liked him, especially with my sets. I tried to make him pretty versatile.
