Weird head discoloration cause of hair

When I attach some hairs to my figures, the part of the head right under the hair, the skin is weirdly dead looking and discolored (see photos)  I can fix this in photoshop later, but is there something I can do in Daz3d

  • That's the hair cap, it is literally on the same coordinates as the forehead's geometry. Whichever hair that is you can fix this via the Parameters Pane via a forehead morph (if that hair has one).

If there aren't any morphs, you can use a D-former to achieve the same.

Often scaling it a bit bigger or using a push modifier can work too.
