smart content quits intermidantly

occasionally my smart content quits showing up. I checked task manage and it (CMS) is running. I checked the DAZ log and found a message where it disappeared but don't know what it means.:

WARNING: dzvalentinaobjectdatabase.cpp(38): DB Register Open error: Cannot establish VC_Connection with remote server.
Make sure the server address and port number are correct.

this stated happening this week but don't know how to fix it. I tried reloading studio and content management service.
anyone have an idea?

The CMS is running while DS is running? That sounds more like database corruption, in which case the CMS probably stops when you start DS - if that is happening see the troubleshooting guide here https://helpdaz.zendesk.com/entries/22523891-Trouble-shooting-the-Smart-Content-Pane

you were right. the database was corrupt. I believe it happened from uploading from DIM while DAZ studio was running. i'll have to remember that. thanks
