I feel like I've slipped into the twilight zone these past few months with the pandemic and all that weirdness - but now after years of shopping at Daz I see today's sale "2020 Platinum Club Plus Sale" and I have to wonder if I'm just in another universe. lol Isn't the PC+ Sale usually in October? Did they move it to June or is this something different?

Edit - Whoa! We're kind of getting TWO PC+ Sales this year! How cool is that!? It's my favorite sale of the year, so getting a kind of "preview" PC+ Sale now and the "official" one in October is just fantastic news! I'm so excited! :D

We are excited to announce an all-new summer sale for the Platinum Club.

This is a first for us, but something we've been wanting to do for a while...but I wanted to really clear on a few things first of all.

This isn't replacing the anniversary sale, obviously.. but it's a bunch of extra promotions and daily new content from us in the PC.  We're going to be opening up last years bundles again (with a pricing twist) as well favourites like the BYOB's.

If you shopped like crazy last year, then I'll save you the trouble of complaining that these are of no interest to you.  These are more a teaser of what to expect in October for all the new PC members we've seen over the last few months.. and for those people who might have missed them the first time around.

For existing, anniversary-hardened members, this promotion will see increased discounts on new releases, back-cat items.. extra weekly freebies.. loads of stuff.  For us to go from 4 items a week to 14, for hopefully a whole month, (in addition to the Anniversary sale) hasn't be trivial I can assure you.  So I'm hoping it gets some support.

This thread as usual is for discussion (but please keep it positive)... funny pics, renders.. etc.  Also feel free to post issues or questions here too, but if so, please don't feel like you need to repost elsewhere, I'll handle it all from here.  There's also going to be a big render contest, with the big prizes you've come to expect, but I won't be keeping an idex thread on this one.

Please remember it's a month-long celebration of all things Platinum.

We really need a bigger gift card sale. 25% is not that good. Over 30% or it does not count  as in you can add a general extra 10% for PC+ members (like we had during honorary PC time)

I dont know of a store that offers much more than 10% off GC's tbh.. so yea, the Daz discounts are impressive :)

I was so sad not to be able to snag a GC at 20% off in the Daz Central sale last week due to low funds (I get more income on the first of the month) but now I'm rather glad I had to wait

just thinking yesterday, geez I have so much DAZ stuff already. Now, today ... Geez, I have to buy a GC and get spending. fill the holes. 
Did you note that you can buy G8 Pro bundles for $12 or less. I had 2 in my cart, added my June PC+ coupon, and they droped another $3 ...  

Daz created another sale ... and looked down upon it and said "this is good".

@Jack, are you at liberty to disclose how many of the Anniversary Bundles will be re-released? Only the first one is active in the store, so I can’t currently see what’s in the bundles I didn’t buy to see whether I should be looking forward to them.

When I first wandered into this sandbox back in 2009 there used to be a July sale called DollarDAZ. Lots of old, but still useful, content at substantial discount prices. This looks like a bit of a revival of that. 

I'll happily take this over a Genesis 9 launch, any day.

They are in the Daily Specials section. Put them in your cart to see the actual price. They were about $18 by themselves. Add a debut new release and if you are a PC+ member they drop to $12.98 each.

Well this excellent PC+ sale going to held two times in a year from this year? Currently I am going through crisis due to current economically wounded world, though I managed to grab few items. However if pro bundles are PC+ then this PC+ is more surprising than last PC+.

30% off Gift Cards is pretty rare - and on the rare occasion it does happen, the buy-in cost is usually quite steep (like having to purchase 3 new releases to get the discount that high - or having to buy a gift card for over $200 or $300 before the higher discount kicks in). So being able to get 25% off just for purchasing one new release (and that includes the PC+ New Releases), that's a really good deal on the Gift Cards.

I know. I was pointing that a little more would be awesome. I do find today's deal is actually good.

But we did got arround 30% GC discounts for low amounts. Not in direct big GC sales, but with cart discounts that worked on GC. There was one 30% discount just before Sahira. And before that, the 10% base for PC+ members (during honoray pc times) helped reach 30%(or close to) staking with average GC sales or general discounts.

That's weird, the bundle prices are a tad higher for me. And Alawa 8 isn't going down as low as the others either. (Not that I'm complaining, it's still an awesome deal either way!)

Alawa is too new, I’m guessing. It’s actually a very generous cutoff, because even newcomers like Josephene and Jonathan get the deep discount, whereas huge pro bundle sales like this usually cut off much further back, like around Alexandra or so. As for why mine are slightly cheaper than yours, I have no clue.

Yeah, I've noticed occasionally when I see PC+ members posting their cart prices, the prices sometimes don't match up to what I'm seeing in my cart. As a PA we're meant to get slightly higher discounts on Daz Original products, but during sales like these, it seems that sometimes it gets calculated incorrectly and we end up paying slightly more than non-PA PC+ members. I'm not complaining though, the prices are still really awesome. :)
