Interactive License for Unity.
Hello. I did some looking into wanting to use Daz items into my Unity proejct and I have a question with this. Somewhere in the googleverse I ran into a post saying that this could cost a minimum of about 500usd (not sure why). Im curious mostly why.
The main thing I want to use is a genesis 8 model.. Would i need to pay 100usd for the Genesis Essentials? or more to that? And is the 100usd license for anything Daz as a whole? Meaning i can use plugins from Daz (like skin builder, shapeshift etc) or do i need to pay 100usd for those seperately? This would save time if it is the case otherwise i can just do some edits via Blender/Gimp to save 100usd each.
Thank you in advance.

If you're using the actual 3D content in your game (as opposed to videos for cut scenes or sprites) then you need an interactive license for each of the products you used, including Genesis 8 starter essentials (and yes, interactive license for G8 starter essentials is 100$).
Interactive license for G8 starter essentials only covers what's included in that bundle, so you'd need to buy separate licences for other products like shapeshift and skin builder.
The 500$ reference was probably about the old "Game Developer License" which used to be available for a handful of vendors and covered their entire store. There used to be one for Daz Originals. They're not available anymore, though they're still valid for people who purchased them at the time.
Also you say unity project, but the ineteractive license is only for an original game and can't be used for mods.
Gotcha , oks thanks all, good to know :)
