    I should also point out...that the name was meant to be a derivation of "Crom" from Conan.....I really had no clue about the infamous Cromwell and his attacks on Ireland

    (we dont get much European history here)

    I was actually thinking of Thomas of that ilk, rather than Oliver - as fictionally described by Hilary Mantel in, among others, Wolf Hall (and the associated television series).

    I picked up the new barbarian character.  Looking forward to paying tribute to Frank Frazetta and other artists who illustrated the Robert E. Howard character.  Great choice, RawArt.

    On the name Cromwell, don't worry.  Nothing is stopping me from renaming figures appearing in my renders.  But yes, the historic person Oliver Cromwell did bad things to my ancestors.  On the other hand, I would not exist if he hadn't driven some of my ancestors to the lands of others of my ancestors, so there is that.

    Yeah...he does kind of have a jawline of the great Kahli

    I have mentioned before how I do start off most of my character with known humans as inspiration...and then once i get close to their look, I deviate to make someone new and unique. I feel this gives characters alot more believability and realism that you really can't get working straight from your mind.

    So for a little peek behind the curtain here....this is the base character I started with (and then gave a more classic conan profile to)

    What is the difference between Cromwell CHR and Cromwell Raw?

    I like the character a lot. But, I like it even more mixed with Hugren or even with Scar 8 alone. Having all 3 makes them all even better. Wow! I highly recommend all three while they are on sale. If you want to make big tough guys, these three work so well together in whatever combination. Thank you RawArt, RedzStudio and Daz for these characters. They are awesome!

    I mixed it with my "Broken Jester" textures ( https://www.daz3d.com/broken-jester-for-genesis-8-male- )...and a bit of "biggun" morphs..to make him a bit bigger.. to get Lobo
