They changed things, it may be that your password no longer fits their criteria so you need to change it to one more secure, longer etc.
But I just recently changed my password and thaty same password still works here. When I changed it here, it also changed for DS and install manager and I ahve logged in wiht that password as recently as Saturday.
Are you using the same security software as before? Also, did you start clean or are you using restored files or even the same drive as before? Sometimes theer can be permission issues with restored files on a new system - it may be worth trying to create a new profile in DIM.
Just got the word from DAZ help on my ticket. Uninstall and reinstall. This is going to be the pits. I pulled the C drive (SSD) from then old system and stuck it in the upgraded build along with my PSU, video card and data hard drives. Did not do a fresh install as all of my software is still in storage after the move. I am tnhinking I may have to do a full reinstall though because this upgrade did not go near as smoothly as the last one.
I don't want to raise false hopes, but Tech Support gave me this advice last year and it worked perfectly.
"Please uninstall Daz Studio and the PostgreSQL. Then go to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\cms and rename or remove the ContentCluster folder and the cmscfg.json file located there.
Once you have done that, reinstall first Daz Studio and then the PostgreSQL CMS (make sure you are not installing as Administrator).
Then open Daz Studio and re-import metadata with the box checked that userdata overwrites product data.
To do this, right click on the Content Library pane, choose Content DB Maintenance, tick Re-Import Metadata, click Accept. Tick User Data and All Products and click Accept."
It may be worth a try.
I followed thier instructiosn exactly and it did not work. Daz still will not accept my username & password in either Install Manager or DS 4.12
you might need to use Crap Cleaner from Piroform
I don't use connect so that might be different but my second completely new virgin computer I just plugged my external in with the zips and it installed it all so something residual is on your computer stopping DIM, I cannot run DIM on both at once.
My passowrd lets me log in to DAZ Studio but will not let me log into Install Manager or log in to DAZ connect so I think it may be a little deeper like having to do a full clean install.
Daz Studio and Daz Connect are the same thing - did you mean the Daz site when you wrote Daz Studio, or did you mean the new Daz Central when you wrote Daz Connect?
NO, DAZ copnnect in DS 4.12 and I also can not log into install manager. I get the following warning box when I try to log into DAZ Connect in DS 4.12
Login Failure Server did not acceot username/password
And I get the following wearning box when I try to log into Install Manager
Unable to login to the specified account. Verify the email and/or password and try again.
This is the same password I use to log into the DAZ website and it has always workled before. I emailed Daz support last night that reinstalling Install Manager (64bit) and DS 4.12 (64bit) did not work. I haven't received an answer back today.
I must repeat multiple times saying faster each time I repeat it.

I had recently changed my password and I usually use a special character in my passwords now but DAZ wold not take the new password with that particular character so I left it out. GHAWD I FEEL STUPID!!! I was trying to log in using the special character in the password (bangs head on desk again just for good measure) Thanks for your help but as Ron White says "You can't fix stupid" DOH.
