IRAY block light with invisible plane

Hello all!

I've searching through forums for my answer, yet I was not able to find the right search terms or so, so please just give me a link if it's already discussed elsewhere. Thank you.

So, my problem is, I want to render out him, without the black light-blockers: Blocker_Image1
But I want to render out only the cat, everything else should be transparent. I have a HDRI for environment, I can turn the dome invisible, but I have other lightsources as well, and the lighting conditions would change without the blocker: Blocker_Image2

It is not possible to make it as far to not be visible in the scene, as it's an indoor scene with some outside view, and the camera view would be this: Blocker_Image3

Please help me, how could I achive to block light with something invisible? How can I make invisible the black blocker, but keep the light outside of it?

Thank you in advance!

Not In Iray, you could try scaling the blocker up so it still works but at a greater distance. You coudl also render with the blocker in place, then render again with it removed and save that as a PNG or Tiff file. You could then use the Tiff/PNG as a source for an alpha channel which you could apply to the first image to mask out the blocker

OH! Thank you very much! The alpha channel suggestion should work! I can't believe it didn't come to my mind earlier! Thanks again!
