Shader Mixer Previews (MDL)

I've been recently dipping my toes back into the water with Shader Mixer and MDL, and have been wanting to use the previews on some of the bricks to test some logic, but they always render white. I came across some references here in the forums that said the previews did not work for MDL bricks. This was 4 years ago when Iray first came out and was just wondering if this was still the case?

Preview doesn't work for MDL bricks, I'm afraid. It isn't turned off, I think, as some bricks can be both and it is possible make a shader network that can be applied in both Iray and 3Delight, using various methods to ensure that the right code is generated for each (look at the compatibilities listed in each brick).
