Questions about saving presets

I made changes to shaders on an outfit and saved it as material presets by pressing the + in the content library. It saved icons that don't show the shader settings which is what actually changed the color that only show up in IRay.

Two questions:

1. How can I have the icons look like the IRay version of the material settings (without rendering and replacing in folder) if there is a way. I actually own a product to create the icons but I can't remember what it is now and I've never used it and wondering if that's the only way to do it...

2. How can I put these new presets from the content library into Smart Content?

Thanks

This might be the product you have: https://www.daz3d.com/thumbnail-mastery

Yes, thanks! But how do I save my changes to the content library so it goes into Smart Content?

I don't use Smart Content, but IIRC you simply need to categorize the new files. To categorize a file all you have to do is right-click on the thumbnail in content library and select "categorize", then add it to whatever category you want.

You can also set compatibility and content type. For that you would use the Content DB Editor accessible from the content library pane.
