    My first thought was the “Dark Embrace” outfit, but I looked and it wasn’t a match.

    To my eye, that corset dress looks like an older V3 or V4 outfit. It is similar to “Sweetheart Asian” but with the bows hidden.

    Hopefully someone else might recognize the exact outfit.

    Thanks. Yeah, I agree that there are too many detail differences for either of those to be it. Still on the hunt ...

    Kind of close, but isn't really it, and I can't find any texture expansion packs for it.

    Following that lead, though, I found something that is very close in its overall design (corset-type strapless top part, little flared skirt part) in an outfit by fabiana called "MagicSense-Outfit" over at Rendo. There are also about five different texture expansion packs for it, and while I can't find in any of them an exact match for that promo of Misu, I certainly found some I really like, and I think are going to do great for what I'm trying to put together.

    Meanwhile, if anybody can track down the Misu outfit, I sure would like to know about it!

    I think that this Misu costume may be from the earlier version of Magic Sense for Aiko 3 or V4, which FK-Designs sold at 3D Commune.  The current version at Rendo is a reboot.  I recall that there were a number of add-on texture packs.  Unfortunately, the Internet Archives for this site have a lot of images missing, and I can't see the texture sets.

    Magic Sense for A3 looks very different.

    No, totally different outfit. The corset from magic sense for A3 is open in the front with laces and the skirt is different.

    Phew! Mystery solved! Thank you thank you!

    So I guess Thorne just applied a wine-colored textured shader (wide-wale corduroy?) to the main bodice piece, and some kind of subtly textured silky shader to the skirt part. Left the upper black lace trim from one of the texture sets, and I guess just tinted the white lace on the skirt part black.

    Does that seem about right—to those of you who work with such things more than I do?

    Oh wow! I actually looked at all the Mada outfits because I figured it probably was one, and didn't recognize it!

    {Burying face in palms}
    I am so embarrassed. When I went to the page, I was so excited to find out what the outfit was that I never even once glanced at who the PA was who made it.

    And now I learn that it was Mada who made it. And it was Mada who told me in this thread what the outfit was and where the outfit could be found—in response to which I actually said to Mada: "How do you do that?"  {Facepalm}

    @Mada: I am so very sorry that I was so very obtuse not to notice that you are the creator of that delightful outfit, and give you the praise due. So please accept the very creation of this thread, and this sincere proclamation, as my apology, AND my unbridled praise.

    If a creator spend 50 hours creating something, they will recognize it, even with different textures applied.

    Yes. I guess you missed the post above yours where I said I hadn't realized she had created it, and expressed my embarrassment.

    The important thing is, you were able to find an answer to your question. Have fun rendering!

    Absolutely—and I hope it got lots of plugs for Mara's work in the process!

    Speaking of plugs, while I'm here, it may amuse you to learn that the scene where I'm planning to use Mara's dress is your very own Inland Marina, which I can't get enough of exploring for wonderful shots.

    But now on that subject: Inland Marina doesn't seem to be anywhere on your "FirstBastion" vendor pages. (???) The product says "1stB" on the main promo image and in my account products list, so I scrolled to "#" on the vendor pages to see if maybe you had an alternate vendor page with that name, but found nothing. (???)

    Once you purchase an item, you generally will not see it on the store pages,  because the default setting "Hide items I own"  You have to uncheck that to see purchased items.

    If I look at my store page it is entirely blank for that reason.

    Heh. Yep, that would explain why I can't see it.

    I certainly will post the video once it's finished and approved for release. It will be one of many scenes in a "dream" sequence. My hope for it is to get a street in it over near the "office" buildings lampost-lit and make it a night or late dusk scene, but because of recent computer woes I haven't had an opportunity to work the setup in any detail, having mainly just "scouted" locations in it before DS started crashing every time I opened it.

    Now that that's finally resolved I'll be seeing if my "vision" is achievable. It may require some kitbashing to get the moody and somewhat foggy stree scene I envision. I have some rigged streetlamps, and ships/boats that light up, but I don't know yet how I can light up the main marina. If you have any tips, I won't be offended if you share them. angel
