Where do I submit a Bug Tracker Report?

I couldn't find anything specifically labelled Bug Tracker report. I ended up using the "Submit a Ticket" function. I found at least one error with Valentino 8. This product requires that you buy the Genesis 8 Expressions package in order for Valentino to work properly.

I'm all fired up about this and other problems I've encountered in recent days. I am combing though my DAZ Studio log file. Maybe DAZ should hire me?!

PS: I just skimmed through the log again. Apparently you need to have both the Genesis 8 Male & Female Expressions packages to make Genesis 8 Male & Female character's expressions to work properly.

That's the right place for reporting problems, commonly referred to as Help Tickets. The term "Bug Tracker" is probably an internal classification for real, reproducible product errors or deficiencies, as opposed to installation problems, user errors, vendor questions, refunds, etc.

The base characters come with minimal morphs to get started (i.e., 8 expressions for G8). Almost all named characters require some part of the Head and Body morphs, and the Expressions, to get the final result. Many use custom morphs, but it can be more efficient to use something that already exists instead of constantly re-inventing it. It is kind of assumed, rather than stated explicitly every time, but it has been that way since the first Genesis (collectively the Genesis Evolution set of products). Genesis 2, 3 and now 8 follow the same pattern with Head and Body morphs and Expressions extra. The Expressions package for G8 adds another 32 to play with.

@Ron Knights "Maybe DAZ should hire me?! "

The Valentino 8 product page says" This product requires installation of either Genesis 8 Starter Essentials through Daz Connect or both Genesis 8 Male Starter Essentials and Genesis 8 Male PowerPose Templates through Daz Install Manager. Product Library, DIM or Daz Connect."

Both of these are free from DAZ. If you haven't downloaded them, that might explain a lot of issues and log entries. The Genesis XXX Starter Essentials packages aren't a new thing.

fastbike1 thanks for the info. I believe those items are automatically installed by DIM. Also, the error I found had a connection to the Genesis 8 Expression pack. Northof45 informed me that Common Knowledge states we should buy the Expressions package in addition to the Head and Body Morphs.

Your original post quotes warnings, not errors. Those ndicate that the shape includes corrective shapes to make sure that the expressions look right - if you don't have thee expressions you don't need the corrections, so the broken links are harmless. Geenrally a warning is a note that something may not be right, for troubleshooting purposes, but unlike an error it doesn't meant that something is definitely broken.

OK, Richard. As it turns out, DAZ's products are just fine... I skimmed through many logs. There weren't many that contained warnings or errors. In fact the one remaining "new" warning I found meant nothing, just as you mentioned.
