Hi,

I've been puzzling over the Preferences tab in the Symmetry dialog. At the bottom it lists what appears to be 3 mouse shortcuts. The list is as follows:

Click : Launch this dialog
Click + Shift : Execute with preferred options
Click + Ctrl/Cmd : Execute with default options

So how (or where) are these used?

The modifiers are fairly standard - if a script, such as a preset, runs without a dialogue box then holding down ctrl/cmd as you run it gives a dialogue (assuming the script was written that way) and vice versa. Holding down shift runs the script with the preferred options, which you set in the dialogue box. So if you, for example, set the preferred option for Materials presets to be Ignore Maps you can hold down the shift key when applying a preset to get the settings applied with the existing textures (except it wasn't working for a while, I haven't checked the last beta to see if it's fixed).

Usually the option are used when apply poze preset too.
Once set prefered option for one of poze preset,

I think,,we could apply poze preset without dialogue box,
as our prefered option setting ,(eg poze selected node only)
    with shift key and click.

But at cuurent with shift key seems not work correctly.
    shift+click and apply preset,
it seems apply preset as default. (we can not apply head poze only by shif key + recorded prefered option)
when apply with ctrl key, then open dialogue window for option menu. then apply preset,
    it work as expected.

And About Symmetly action,, I think we can acess by tab option menu and top menu only.
(there may be actual script file somewhere, but I could not find or access it in daz studio by icon)
So that the ctrl, or shift option have no meaning about the symmetly.
(no need to think about, shif or ctrl etc,,)

even though I changed short-cut for symmetly, or set them as custom action, and icon,
it must launch dialogue box to set option.
