Transferring Content to new Computer

Hi

I take delivery of a new computer soon and am wondering if there is an easy way to transfer across content/ characters I currently have in Daz Studio 3 across to the new machine? I have so much content accumulated over many years that it is bordering on impossible to re-install it all along with custom characters I have worked on. Please let me know if there is a simple way of moving it all across.

Thanks.

If you have a network, or if both machines have Ethernet ports and you get a cross-over cable, a simple copy across the network is simplest - make sure you include the \Data folder from the first DAZ Studio content directory as that has the geometry and morphs for any OBJ or Poser-format content in your scenes.

Thanks for this - I also now wondered where I point Daz 3 to to load up content I have re-installed using install manager?

Edit > Preferences > Directories > Content Directory Manager, add the path "C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library" to BOTH DAZ Studio Formats and Poser Formats..
