Hi Daz world,
Can someone post a brief description if jpeg can be imported into scene and how ?
I want to place jpeg picture I have into a pic frame or tv in the scene.
Is it duable ?
If it's too complicated I'll just skip it.
Thanks
If the thing you want to show the picture is nicely set up you will be able to click on the area (the display of the TV, the area within the frame of the picture) and in the Editor tab of the Surfaces pane you will see the correct surface group selected on the left. Then you can apply the image you want by clicking the tiny micro-thumbnail next to the slider for Base Colour (or it might be Diffuse Colour, depending on the shader used), select browse... from the menu, and select your image - you can also just drag the imaeg from a file browser window onto the slider. This may not work - it depends on the UV mapping of the model, how it iss et to wrap a flat image around itself - if not you can use the same method to apply your image to a plane primitive (Create>New primitive), then use the regular posing controls to fit that plane over the area you want to carry the picture.
In addition to what Richard has said, when applying your image to the plane or surface that you wish, be mindful of the aspect ratio (width vs. height) of the surface to which you are applying the image and the image itself. They must be the same in order to avoid distortion.
