Product question with legacy UV's

Would this product https://www.daz3d.com/legacy-uvs-for-genesis-8-victoria-5  let you take textures for Genesis characters and put them on Genesis 8 or does it specifically have to be a V5 character? 

Same question for https://www.daz3d.com/legacy-uvs-for-genesis-8-victoria-6 with Victoria 6 / Genesis 2
