Rigging: Is it better to do it in Daz or Blender?

I've gone back to working on props (freebies), and one needs rigging.

I know the axis are different in both programs. So, I was wondering if it was better to rig something in Daz Studio, if it's going to be used in Daz Studio?

last time I checked rigging in any other program doesn't carry over well into DS

If it's a humanoid you use transfer rigging to your humanoid in DS

Not for freebies ;-) That's permitted for things like clothing.

Also, that works only if the pose and proportions roughly match the source figure.

    Thanks for the replies ^^

I've done the transfer rigging on a humanoid model before. But I commissioned someone to sculpt/create head and body morphs of that character to replace it.

Anyway, I'm working on a Prop for the (house) cats of Daz Studio, and I'm trying to rig the string. Blender is starting to do my head in, so I just wondered if it was easier in Daz Studio (although I'll have to find a Yt video to give me the basics on rigging). If I can get it to a standard that I'm happy with, I'll be releasing it as a freebie in the future.
