Buildings and rooms

Hello, I'm back with another question.
Is there a way to remove just the roof/ceilings from rooms and/buildings such as Daz's Level 19 or the Asylum so that you can set the camera above the building and look down in?

It depends on the model and how it was made. If it's a figure, expand the body parts in the Scene pane and look for a 'ceiling' part or whatever. If it's there, you can switch it off.

If the model doesn't have separate body parts, or if it's a prop, try looking at the materials in the surface pane. If there's a 'ceiling' material, set Opacity to zero to make it invisible.

At the very worst, if there's absolutely no way to hide walls or ceiling, use a wide angle on the camera, like 25mm. That gives a wider view without moving too far back, so you can place the camera inside the room. (You may have to create a new camera to do this).

You can also select the polygons in the part you want to hide and assign them to a new material, if they aren't already in a material of their own - the Grouping Tool in Poser or the Geometry Edit tool in DAZ Studio.
