How Do I,.. Save/Freeze/Lock a Smoothed Outfit

So, a lot of the time I do something to the scene, studio decides it needs to recalculate the smoothing which can take up to 45+ seconds it gets tiring,. character is in final pose for scene

so I just want to save it as is to speed things up, tried exporting but it just exports base version. and another little quirk thats been bugging me,... everytime I hit Save (NOT Save AS) it still acts like a Save AS command I have to type in a file name or overwrite. looked in settings didnt find an option for fixing that

I can answer the part about Save acting as Save As. You need to edit your preferences (shortcut F2) and enter your authorship information. Then save will work properly.
