could someone recommend a good expression package for G8 female?

    Do you have the base G8F pack? What sort of expressions are you looking for?

    I do have the base pack but I was looking for more subtle expressions.

    There are probably close to 100 different expression packs for G8F. Any recommednations will depend on what people personally like. It's easy enought to find them, even with the Store's search engine.

    The thing with a lot of expressions is that the one-click expressions often look extreme.  The best results come from dialing them in the Posing tab, IMO.   You can get a lot of mileage out of combining the HD expressions.  There are a couple of general expressions I can recommend.

    https://www.daz3d.com/hd-visemes-for-genesis-8-female are very good for animating faces

    https://www.daz3d.com/20-unique-smiles-hd-for-genesis-8-females is only for smiles, but they come in handy.

    If I had to pick one?

    Emma and Jordi are my favorites for mixables. At least, those fit the faces that I like dialing in.
    Also, they use descriptive words for the dials in their better packages.
    (I HATE dials that say "Smile 2" or "Frown 25". Like, what am I supposed to do with that? Dial everything in and out every time to know what the dial is supposed to be about?)

    I'll pick Kala 8's package from E&J as the one I'd recommend. Gotta love the "Seducing" dial for the sexyface.

    In addition to this, you can manually tweak and fine-tune the expression. Select the figure's head, and in the Scene pane, open the Head body part then the Lower Jaw. Inside the Head directly there's an Upper Face Rig section, and inside Lower Jaw there's Lower Face Rig. Open them and you'll find a few dozen "pose dots" scattered about the face that you can manipulate with the Parameters controls in General>Transforms.

    Those are really nice.  I picked up Kala in bits and pieces, and hadn't paid attention to the poses.

    I like the expressions for Edie 8 in the pro bundle for her.

    I recommend Genesis 8 Female(s) Expressions & Face aniBlocks by SimonWM.

    There is at least one for every Figure Base from Generation 4 onwards. I've bought every single product.

    It's not just useful for Animations.

    thank you that does look like a nice set. I can't afford it at the moment but it's in my wishlist.

    Yep, always wait for a sale if something isn't an immediate priority.

    This is by far my favourite G8F expression pack, and certainly the one I use the most.

    Packed with not just the usual happy/angry etc, but a whole range of different emotions, plus utility expressions like talking, singing etc. Each expression is given its own name, which make finding the one you want a lot easier. I am not a fan of expression packs (often the ones that come with pro packs) that are nothing more than 10 happy, 10 angry, and 10 sad.
