SOLVED - DS 4.12 Stalls While Installing CMS

I had to install DS again, but it gets stuck (I waited an hour) when it gets to "Installing Content Management Service."

When I aborted and tried again, I got a pop-up which read: Error copying file from packed archive C:Users/____/Desktop/DazStudio_4.12.1.117_Win64.exe to C:Program Files/DAZ 3D/DazStudio4/cms/DAZPostgresqlCMS_9.3.4.exe

What do I do?

Given that specific error, I would redownload the installers, make absolutely sure that Studio and DIM and any and all related processes weren't running, and try again. If that doesn't work, then I'd file a ticket; it sounds like the installer is running into an issue with a corrupted file.

There is a separate installer for PostgreSQL in the product library, but I don't know if there's any way to tell how complete your studio installation is when it runs into that error. That's one of the last steps, but I don't know if it's THE last step.

Thanks, @vwrangler, for your response. DIM was open. And once I closed it, the install went through (although I still got the error message in the beginning). Thank you so very much!
