Unable to Save Timeline Keys for Hair Morphs

I am trying to make an animation in which the Genesis 3 model's hair moves, using the morphs that were included with the hair object (Emma and Jordi's Shavonne hair). I figured out how to show the morphs in the timeline by adding 'hidden' to the Types selector. I can see the keys marked as 'T' appearing on the timeline when I adjust the morph slider - in this case, 'Back Out Wind' (see attached image).
If I render the animation at that point, the movement is captured as intended. However, if I save the file and open it again, all of the keys for the morph have disappeared from the timeline. Why isn't Daz saving the keyframes for the hair morph? Am I missing a step or a setting somewhere along the way?
The keyframes for elements that have bones are saving just fine. I noticed that the keys for those appear as a small triangle in the timeline, not a T. What is the significance of that?

I'm afraid this is a known issue.
There is no workaround?
Simple Summary: up through 4.11 one had to purchase Animate 2 / Keymate / Graphmate to do serious animation. In 4.12, things have changed to include all those functions within Studio itself. It sounds nice ... but they are having a bumpy road ... losing keyframes is one of the current problems. If you can go back to an earlier version of 4.12 or even 4.11 it will probably work better. Otherwise, I am not sure of a workaround. [currently I have stuck with 4.11 for my main work and I have an early 4.12 beta to play with and try to get used to the new features when I have extra time].
There is no way to revert back to an earlier version of Daz, is there?
Ummm ... if you have a copy of the ZIP file (manual or DIM) that you used to install a previous version, you can use it again ... but you will probably also need to install the matching utilities that require keys (like LAMH, etc). If you do not have these, I have heard it rumored you might be able to get a copy by starting a ticket with customer service and explaining you want to go back because of the technical difficulties with the current version ... but I do not know the success rate with this.
You can ask support for an older version via a ticket https://www.daz3d.com/help/help-contact-us - explain why you need one, and keep an eye on the Public Buillds (Betas) for the issue to be fixed.
