Why does a "Content Library" folder show only 1-264 of 360 items?

Does anybody know why a folder in my "Content Library" pane shows only 1-264 of 360 items when I click on that folder?

Let's say as example only the path is My Content Library/People/Genesis 3 Female/Voodo Queens. I have 350 Voodoo Queen characters for G3F, but I twirl down to and click on that folder in the "Content Library" pane, and at the top of the thumbnails section of the pane it says: "1-264 of 360." I see thumbnails of the Voodoo Queens, with their names under each, but only up to names beginning with the letter "N." I have lots more Voodoo Queens with names beginning after "N" in the alphabet.

Why?

No idea why, but there should be little plus and minus symbols over to the right of that "1-264 of 360" text - you can click the plus to see more.

Bless you, bless you, bless you, @MelanieL! And when you said "little" you weren't kidding. Practically needed a magnifying glass to see them, but it worked!

Like you, I still have no idea why, but "it's Daz" will have to do for now.

The idea is that you can choose if you want all on one page or split them up into several smaller pages at the size of your choice.  If you want smaller pages you use the arrows to the left to shift betwen them.

@mavante "Like you, I still have no idea why, but "it's Daz" will have to do for now."

Because you have limited space in that window for most Workpsoace setups, and a fair number of users have more than 264 characters of a given line.

I don't understand how "limited space in that window" has anything to do with it, given that whether there are 264 or 360 items, they don't all fit in the pane window at once; there is a scroll bar to the right of that pane window containing the thumbnails. At any given workspace size for that pane window, all increasing the available count does is make the scroll bar handle get shorter. The number of visible thumbnails remains the same.

Whilst I would not wish to accuse anyone of being addicted to anything, but 350 Voodoo Queens does seem an awful lot, I assume there is a reason to have so many?

If you actually have more than items in a category than you set as your max with the +/- adjustment, the scroll bar will only let you scroll through the max number of items set and to view the rest you have to go to the next page(s). Needless to say, that can be a real pain when you're trying to skim through categories with thousands of items in them.
