File Explorer-Restructuring files

I would like to go into file browser and restructure some of my DS files. So my question is am I going to break anything by doing this? I mainly use the Content Library but I do use Smart Content on occasion.
I know this question has been addressed before but when I search its for older versions and I want to make sure im not going to mess anything up in the current version. I know not to mess with scripts and such, it will mainly be for better organization of clothing and for items that wasn't placed in folders properly to began with (or maybe they were that way in older versions I don't know for sure).

If you move files on disk then smart content references to those files won't work anymore, you'd need to edit those to point to the new location.
Yeah, if you just use the content library browser, and not that smart content, you can move almost all the user facing files to your heart's content. Don't move stuff in data or runtime ever. A lot of scripts can be moved, but some have dependancies, best to not risk the agravation lol.
You may find it easier and safer to move files around in Categories within DS, then you can't break anything. I have my own set of categories outside of the Default categories and I categorize everything. If you want to start from the disk layout (i.e. Daz Studio Formats and Poser Formats) you can right-clidk on a folder and choose Create Category > from this folder and subfolders.
