Hemlines

I had to hide some sleeves. Now there's no hem.

 

How would you paint a hem? I don't think a simple line would look like a hem?

 

EDIT; I'm talking G2M Karate gi.

    I'd first look if I could create custom textures from those include and move whatever hemline they painted in Photoshop; alternative it's a case of using software to paint new ones.

    It's doable in Blender and indeed many others; I presume Hexagon too, although I don't use it.

    It is doable in photoshop or gimp, but it could be time-consuming to get it looking good.

  • If you could create a bump map in Photoshop, GIMP or a like program you could "bump" out a strip of cloth at the end of the sleeve. This might give the appearance of thicker cloth where the hem was folded under. Depending on the level of detail, you could then add stitching to the texture map to show the stitching that holds the hem in place.
