Stumped!

:-Ok , this is an odd one! A little while back I down loaded DAZ 3D, and started to use it with no problem. Yesterday I downloaded the Gateway " freebie" . Now I know I have a couple of dozen downloads in total, the download manager tells me that, however when entering DAZ 3D today I have just found there is absolutely nothing in my content or product file, except for yesterdays free gateway down load. When I say nothing, I really do mean nothing else. I just downloaded and installed todays freebie, the cleaver, and that's not there either!

Now I know there's probably a good reason for this , but I'm stumped as to what it is or how to fix it. But I suspect somebody out there in DAZ 3D world knows what it is that's happened. I have not uninstalled anything. I really would like to retrieve everything because my renders are stored in there. Could anybody suggest a solution please? :-S

Did you install the postgre conversion program?
It may be further down the list.

Yes I installed that as well, in fact I installed all those which I thought were updates. Should I now uninstall these?

The DIM content folder is not the DAZ Studio content folder. For content to work from DIM installs the Folder needs mapped.
This is the DAZ Studio Default folder and the DIM folder both mapped.
With the NEW PosterSQL installed you may need to Import Metadata to get the DB to read the first time.

    Welcome to the club...
    Uninstall both.
Then, make a backup of your data base in DS. This is very important, in case your installation goes down the drain (as mine did).
Then, make sure CMS is running, and DS is closed.
Then, first install the PostgresSQL CMS. After that, install the Postrgres CMS Valentine conversion. That should need a bit to install, depending on the size of you database.
Afterwards, the content should show up in DS.
If not, there are some additional steps.
