does my daz account have a sent box for PMs?

I contacted a vendor last monday with a question about their product and that vendor has not responded.

before I reach out to daz and ask for assistance I wanted to verify that I did send the message.

is there a way to do that?

    On the blue bar right below the normal black Daz menu bar, you'll see a cog on the right-hand side. Click it then click on Inbox near the bottom. All your sent messages will show up there.

    Looks to me like PM is creating threads which are shown to all people participating in a conversation.

    I never get PMs, but the few times I did, I didn't notice them for days or longer.

    I'm not sure why DAZ chose to set this up this way... usually a gear or cog icon is for settings... generally that's stuff you can change, like your profile, signature or screen settings... I suspect DAZ has their actual mailbox disguised as a cardboard box and hidden in the shrubs next to the parking lot, so that's normal to them... 

    Most sites I'm familiar with have notifications for things like PMs somewhere prominent where you can see them when you visit, not inside a menu which looks like it does something else, which you never really use, which you have to click on... DAZ used to have that at the old site back in the before times when they were in Draper, in the pre Magento days.

    Alas, you'll have to remember to check every now and again if you aren't used to regularly receiving PMs.

    yeah I find people don't see mine until months later if at all

    it needs a yellow dot on the top right forum page or a bell icon like most sites have

    I'm not sure if you have to set something special; BUT I get a regular email whenever I get a PM.

    Sometimes I get emails notifications, sometimes not.  It's not very reliable.

    If you're reading the forums when someone PMs you you get a pop up notification, but it only stays for a few seconds.

    I'm pretty sure there's a timer of some kind to limit the number of emails sent to prevent spamming our inboxes. Good thing,too.
