Visual Novel Camera settings etc

Hi everyone. I really apologize is this is the wrong place to ask but I've checked other topics related to VNs and didn't find the answers I was looking for.

I want to use renders for my VN but i'm wondering if there's a certain way I can keep my camera angle consistent for different scene renders so the scene/ character is not moving in different shots.

New users is always a good place to start your journey, it's what it is designed for.   However you will find that most people who do grpahic novels, comics, book covers and other stuff of that ilk will post in the Art Studio.

No panic, because if you don't get the answers you need here you can move the thread over to the Art Studio yourself

If you use a real camera (Create>New Camera) instead of the Perspective View then its location is saved with the scene (and changes are added to the undo stack) - you just need to be careful not to move it while setting the scene up. I usually use the Perspective View for set up and the camera only for rendering - you can switch between them using the button at top-right of the Viewport, labelled for the view/camera currently in use.

Thank you both for the replies. I honestly hesitated because it can get frustrating for some people when newbies ask obvious questions.

@Richard Haseltine. I'll do that thank you!

@Chohole. I figured i wouldn't post there because I can't really Art haha. I'm a decent storyteller however and that's why i'm picking the 3d route so I can play with my models and scenes :)

    Thanks again guys

In addition to Richards suggestion, when I have a camera set up as I need it to be, I immediately go in and "lock" all the translation properties in the parameters tab, the number of times I accidentally moves a camera as I forgot to go back to perspective view used to drive me nuts!
