a quick click way to move figures around big sets?

can i make a figure jump to a position under my mouse click or something?

or can i see a x,z coordinates where i click my mouse?

Not really a reply but my method : Create a null where you want to move your props/figures.
Copy and paste the null to the props/figure.

This will work for moving items next to, on to, and so soon with another item. The Align tool. Window>Panes Tabs>Align the best way to learn how it works is to just play with it.

The Fast way to place a item the first time is the DRAG load. For that you Click and hold your mouse Button, you hold the ALT key also and DRAG the item to the viewport, you will get a target showing where the item will load on screen. Release either key to load. This to is best learned by doing it.
