HDR Shops?
Hi,
I like HDR's (right now made another hdr Thread :O )
and daz3d and renderosity have some HDR's, but not enough for my greed ;)
I also know the wonderful free site hdr heaven, but is there in the internet also a hdr store? My google search gave me just a lot tech info about HDR in general :/ Like I have HDR Monitor from BenQ, but I am not looking for HDR photos, i am looking for 360° HDR's for daz3d. (doesnt need to be adjusted for daz3d).
What about such sites: 360cities.net/
is it possible to use the 360 pictures as hdr or a different format for daz3d? I had from hdriheaven one time a file which ended with "e" but I dont know it anymore, daz3d was able to read the file and use it as dome, but the image preview didnt worked in the render settings, but thats ok.
I just like to place my 3D char into real places. I special would like to have more interior inside buildings and with crowds, because filling scenes with peoples is really a ressource problem, I have some Billboards from Riversoftart (thanks!) but... I never used them xD I just bought them (how genius!....) because its not so easy to just grab/place 30 different looking peoples who look at one spot, like building a theathre scene, a real crowd would help more.
Sorry, too much writing!

There are a ton! If you search for HDRI instead of HDR you'll come up with a lot of results, especially for free/partially free options.

3D model websites like CGTrader and Turbosquid also sell a lot of HDRI's and IBL's.
You could combine these tools to create a HDR image.
- use Microsoft ICE to create a panorama image.
- create 3 different exposure images (+2EV,0EV,-2EV) from the panorama.
- use Photoshop or GIMP to calculate the final HDR image.
Microsoft Image Composite Editor (ICE) (Panorama creator)

Photoshop HDR ((skip to 5:30) (File -> Automate -> Merge to HDR Pro)
Gimp HDR

Too much work, I just wanna buy/download hdri files to use them.
I asked 360cities but they said they want for ONE image 225€ O_o.... complete overrated crap...
Thanks, seems like I searched just for HDR :)
I grabbed now this store:
https://hdrmaps.com/
10€ for a paid HDR and some Free hdr's that is okay, if it is a nice HDR 10e are okay, to support the photographer :)
Anyone know HDR's of crowds`?
wanna make scenes like this:
Where a mass is looking at one hotspot.
@Riversoftart could you make more medieval stuff where a lot people are "looking" straigt to a scene?
Like this, is not very useful to show the crod paying attention to the mid ;) Like "Looking at you" Crowds, maybe you create 5-10persons in 1 preloadable crowd :D
I know a bit outoftopic :D
yeah thinked about making own billboards to create little crowds for specific scenes :/
Basically a billboard is a plane with a picture on the diffuse and a mask [black/white] on the geometry cutout.
… which is always facing the camera so that it is not foreshortened.
hehehehe ... yeah that helps too :-)
