Viewport slow with larger scenes after update --[SOLVED]--

Ever since the latest update 4.12.1.117, my scenes with larger information slow the program down to the point where it is unworkable. The latest public beta version 4.12.2.6 is the only version that does not slow down though I can't use that for other reasons. Versions 4.11 and 4.12.0.86 also slow down but it's strange because before the update, 4.12.0.86 was fine. Is it plugins or some other setting? My computer is very fast and before 4.12.1.117 I never had this issue. Could someone please help me figure this out? Thanks in advance:)

    What preview mode are you using? What are your system specifiications?

    Hey Richard! I was using the texture shaded viewport mode but I just solved the issue by going to preferences-->interface-->display optimization and I changed it from "none" to "best."
