    From 300 to 3200 mhz probably makes quite a difference, but I guess you meant 3000?

    Yeah, Daz will eat up 16 Gb RAM quickly.  32 Gb gives it more elbow room, and the difference is notable.  The memory speed has less of an impact.

    Agreed. I've had studio use over 32 on a regular basis; just over 50 is the most I've seen and that was just the once. I use Blender for rendering now and it uses considerably less it seems, although maybe my scenes so far haven't been that big?

    yeah it will make a big difference in load

    my Win10 with 8Gb is abysmal can really only load one dressed HD G8

    my Win7 has 16Gb and can load 3 dressed HD G8's 

    rendering on either is a whole different story cheeky

    But when it loads it shouldn't make a difference?  DS itself is using less than 1 GB.

    That's kind of only relevant if you just have DS open for decoration.

    Yes, but @daveso said he also noticed (or imagined) the difference when he loaded DS.  But maybe that wasn't what he meant.
