Hello,
When clicking on Currently Used, I expect to see all the parameters that have a non zero value, am I wrong ?
This is not the case (Daz Studio r4.6) : some non zeroed parameters don't show up. Thing is these parameters are greyed (and I have no idea why this is the case - I'm sure something escape me, perhaps are they the parameters that loaded with the char preset I've applied to my figure, and they are "protected" in a sort of way ?) : how can I un-greyed these parameters ? what does that all means ?
Thanks for any insight !

In the Parameters pane drop-down menu, there is an option to 'Show Hidden Properties', check that, and these greyed out items will appear.
What morphs are you having a problem with?
These hidden morphs are usually hidden for a reason, to prevent the user from having problems by selecting things that may have a detrimental effect on the character.
You are right, the "currently used" show parameter which is different from the "default value".
do not show parameters the current value is not zero.
Then the "default value" can easy change by character preset .
because character preset record properties value which categorized as "shape" .
then set the current property values as default value.
it is same when you use "memorize figure shape" etc.
so that when you tweak each value about the character, you can restore>figure shape.
it restore all shape property value as setted default. then your character shape return.
On the other hand,, if you load gen2female, then change some morph value,
next save it as shape preset.
it record properties value as same as character preset, but not change default value.
so taht you can see which properties are used already clear.
Then,, I hope daz offer clear documents ><;)<br /> about each preset,, not simple usage,,or tips help,,
but these important things,,.
And one more complex point,,,,, if you use one character controller (eg Victoria6)
it change anotehr morph (Victoria6 head) and (Victoria6 body) etc,,
now you save it as character preset,,
ds only set about the controller value 1.00 as default.
(to avoid many problems,)
after that you load the character preset (or apply it)
when you see curently used,, it show you only subcomponetn morphs.
because there default value keep zero.
but now you can not tweak these morph value.
(because it is controlled by Victoria6)
but , you can not find which controller are used for the character.
from top menu> zero figure, (zero shape) then clcik another category (eg General etc)
then select Currently used again. it show you the character controller, with zero value.
and you may see the value color blight ((that means the property default value is not zero)
then if you need to reset all properties as zero,, to check which morph are used clear,
from top menu >zero figure then memorize figure.
it set all (almost ) properties value to zero. and set it as default.
Thanks for your answers.
(When refering to greyed value, I'm not speaking of hidden value.)
If I understand correctly, "Currently used" is based on default value and not zeroed value...
Default values are fixed when "presseting" a figure : memorize shape, load char presset, or loading a saved scene with a modified figure...
(btw, great insigh, thankst!)
Question is : how can I display non zeroed value parameters on a "presseted" figure ?
As I mentioned above,, if the character use controller,, you can not show all properties which is not zero as usuall.
zero figure and memorize figure, can change value to default. but subcomponent morph keep the default value zero.
so that you can not see it,, even though you see currently used.
then mix some technic ^^;
1. save current figure as shape preset. or property preset may work.(it can include current pozing too)
2. zero figure shape, (zero figure poze), memorize figure. then turn all property default value as zero.
3.apply shape preset, or property preset,,, now your figure return the character shape.
then see currently used. (it is more better if you use "show hidden properties"
