Do things here usually settle down after the PC+ month sales?

Between the Memorial Day and month-long Platinum Club sales, I seem to have found Daz at both a great time (for building a library of content) and a terrible time (for my wallet).

I'm curious about a "normal" week on Daz. How often are major bundles released? PA content? How often do sales occur? Is it common for items to have a 50% or more discount (as it has been this month)?

The PC+ membership paid for itself, so I suppose that I'll be visiting frequently to use those 12 months of coupons, and I'm wondering what to expect after June.

Bundles used to be every other week, not sure how long the every week release will last. There are sales literally every day, some better than others, Daz wants to keep you on your toes. The discounts have been better than normal lately especially with the $1.99 items, but Daz randomly does great sales, coupons, etc... ALL the time. So get your wallet used to it...

Lol. Hopefully the October sales include lots of new Halloween and horror content. If so, maybe I should just stop buying things now and save for October since I'm a sucker for those themes. ;)

Wow. Every other week for major bundles is surprising. But then again, there are a lot of them, so I suppose that makes sense.

Thanks to both of you for the insights.

Daz has some Hallowe'en stuff, but not as much as Rendo, and usually it's last minute and not in time for making holiday themed stuff.  Previous year's stuff goes on sale through out the year, so you might want to browse a bit and get your wishlist ready.

Really wish they'd kept PC+ to once a year. I planned my budget for assets around it.

I cleared a large amount of my former wishlist.

Discovered a lot of new stuff on the way that I added to the wishlist though, that is now ironically a lot bigger than before the PC Sale. (Damn you, Jack!! wink)

Somehow reminds me of good old Sisyphus from the ancient Greek myths.

I'm a poor happy camper right now.

And relieved that June will be ending soon....

February, July and August are pretty much the only months where the sales are not as full-on. However, June used to be included in that list.

    "There is always another sale."

... And some of the best (from a personal situation) may come outside of the official big sales as there is a sale every day, and some of the themes/items may grab you.

My opinion; if you want to save cash, don't get PC+ Membership as it will constantly suck you in.

I doubt it, Daz is a business, they want to make money. I don't see them slowling down much. I don't think I have seen them slow down over the last couple years. There seems to be a good deal every single week, since I started be able to buy finally back in 2017. The previous 13 years, I was too broke back in the old days.

How much profit is there in selling items at $0,37 per piece, though...? (The B.Y.O.B sale.)

I only rejoined the PC club a month and a half ago, the stuff I collected over the past month would have cost me at least $1500 at full price, instead of around fifty bucks. Even at 50% off at would have cost me hundreds of bucks.

    (Not that I'm complaining...)

If we sell enough of it ;)

The BOYB is older content, so we can afford to sell at a much reduced price than we normally would... so swings and roundabouts really :)

Well, maybe just keep the $1.99 PC for a day all year long; And if that is too much just have a new  batch once a week. Just a thought.

Since it's all daz owned products, "mantainance" cost is little to nothing. And its not so much 0.37 per item, its more like $2.99 each bundle they sell. While for some people you do get a big discounts on thing you would have paid more in the short run, most are also getting lots of things that "since is cheap" might as well. We buyers get a bigger variation in our library, daz get a few bucks (*): Win-Win

(*) Multiply "few bucks" for the thouthands they are selling during this month.

I second that proposal. PC+ for a Week!

I still remember how many years DAZ Studio remained in beta-stage before the first release. Even still have a lot of the pre-version 1 installers stored somewhere on an external disk.

I think that is when the "How Soon? DAZ soon!" was invented...

I usually shop from my wishlist, but at $1.99 I've bought a lot of stuff I hadn't noticed before.  Maybe I wouldn't have bought it at a more normal price, but that PA may not have been on my radar before, maybe the next release from that PA will get more of my attention, or I'll look through their other back-catalog items.
