    the fantastic fowl
striking terrific terror into the hearts of criminals everywhere!

    Chickenman
modeled the chicken head, tail, bucket, feed holder, toilet roll and packet and the chicken feet laugh

did another ChickenMan using LoRenzo Super Hero this time ~ the previous one was using Genesis

also used LoRetta.. modeled the gun, tubular bells, chicken head, feet and tail and rubber chicken. Flipped the image in PSE2020

the rooster was from a site that's no longer here.

sorry to be so slow, doing tax and crap

"Boy finds spaceship in back yard." - as you do

Took Luna lander and retxtured it with another spaceships texture no longer available here, used Shader Map 4 to extract a normal map of the new spaceship texture, combined old texture and new texture in shader room using Fenric's layer tool - you can select multiply overlay screen dissolve etc

Better to be sure with your tax !

Nice find in the backyard, would make a great Cubbyhouse !!

With Fenric's layer tool I assume you are referring to the Layer Blending tool, have included a couple of screenshots for those who are unfamiliar with it.

    1. Click on your Color Channel

    2. Click on Fenric

    3. Click on Layer Blending

    4. Click on Layer Blending Mode - choose one.

ah yes, it's very valuable as are all his tools

    Wow!

Hello Dart, have you got time to get away from that major project of yours and do a render or two ?

That would be fun! The hardest part for me is finding time from time that keeps me away from my computer! angry Cartoons and Comics, eh? Certainly not my strength, but sounds very fun! I'll see if I can get something going.

Great job folks.  No time to comment on each yet.

I've been distracted because my desktop has been occupied, and my laptop had some installation issues.  I will get something going again soon.

Great poses and cool toon look.  Adding an exclamation point in each caption might give it more punch (just a suggestion).

    Jack Kirby Tribute

The background is Urban Sprawl rendered in the Carrara Non-Photorealistic render engine.  Jack could do amazingly detailed foreground images, but he often left the background sketchy.  I wanted a sketchier look.

After loading the background onto a plane, I added the characters, which are Genesis (Hulk), F4 (The Thing), V4, K4, and M3 (the cops).  The police car is a Carrara native object.  I made the caption, and tweaked a bunch of things in the modeling room.

The Thing is in a classic Jack Kirby pose.  Just copying the pose - by itself - was an education.

In the beginning, I wasn't sure that I could get The Thing rock texture to look how I wanted.  But the Carrara shader room astounded me.  I didn't have to import any maps.  The texture is all Carrara.  Toon 3 was used for outlines, and GMIC (within Carrara) provided some basic image controls.

    No postwork.
