Interpolation Issues

I have linked to a very short clip showing my problem. The 2 keyframes have the foot planted to the ground in the same location but the interpolation creates this sliding effect. It doesn't go away even if I change the interpolation type. How do I fix this?

Please post some unshrunk screen shots, and explain what you did to get to this point.

    I have keyframe A and B (kf_A and kf_B). And inbetween I have 7 interpolated keyfframes (kf_1-7).

The left foot position remains unmoved between kf_A and kf_B. However in the interpolated keyframes the foot moves. Why is this happening?

The interpolation is set to Linear. TCB creates the same unwanted effect but more pronounced.

Yes, but how did you set that up? Is the hip moving? What do the graphs for the sliding leg look like? Are you using IK, and if so what is pinned? Is the reach Parameter set to a non-zero value?

I created both kf_A and kf_B independently using the Active Pose tool. The left foot was pinned (at both Origin and End) and moved everything else as needed including the Hip joint. The graphs look like a straight line from kf_A to kf_B. I don't know what a reach parameter is.

I don't know what a reach parameter is.

It is the parameter whos strength  you must manually animate for the points in time at which you want your feet  pinned.
Daz studio does not have realtime foot/floor IK contact solving  ATM

Where is the parameter located? I've been looking but can't find it.

It's a property of the IK chains, so as you are not using those it isn't available. Since you are not using IK with reach you need to llook at all the nodes from hip to the sliding foot as any of those will cause the foot to move, even though its own properties are constant.
