So I'm buildng a scene in DS, rotating characters how I want them and so on, when suddenly my cursor dissapears. in the work panel. It reappears in the task ar at the bottom, but when I move it into onto DS to click on something it vanishes. Any ideas?
I have finally been able to reproduce this consistently (Windows). If you use the right mouse button on one of the first three view controls (rotate, pan, zoom) the cursor is hidden while you hold the mouse button down and normally comes back when you release it. If you happen to press the left mouse button while the right mouse button is down, the cursor does not come back. Now, move the invisible cursor over to the control cube (ctrl key sonar is a great help at times like this, or else you'll know when one of the control cube faces highlights). You can get the cursor back by reversing the order that made it disappear, that is, left-click and hold, right-click and release, then release left. (Also works with left-click and hold, right-click and hold, release left, release right). Make sure that you are on the control cube.
Another way to get the cursor back is this: click in the view box. That is the box that indicates the current view (e.g. default camera, perspective view, front view, etc). Move the hidden cursor around until that box is highlighted. Left click and the cursor reappears.

Thank you, I had to save and close and reboot DS, but now I've read this I'll try your method if it happens again.
Cheers.
Annoying isn't it?
