"VisualStyle" Noir Shaders Question.

I've been doing some test renders with the "Visual Style" Noir Renders It seems to be a pre-Iray product 2012, but so far results in 3Delight take a very long time to render, and results in the open GL are just strange. I was wondering if anyone familiar with these shaders, could give me some guidance as to what Render engine they are meant to be used with so I can focus my efforts there. TYVM in advance.
