Sea Salt Hair

I purchased this product, but when I use it, the hair is a blob no detail at all, both before and after rendering.  Also, I have been unable to find the sliders for posing the hair anywhere.  Any help on this would be appreciated.  I have not used dforce before, so have no idea what I am doing, and there is no documentation for this hair that I can find.

    Are you rendering in Iray? Otherwise you will get that blob. This is strand-based hair, so it has no geometry to start, just guides as to where it will go. To see something in the preview that looks like hair, you need to set "Generate PS Hairs" to ON (it is by default) and "Viewport Line Tesselation Sides" to 2 or more (default is 0). Higher tesselation means more definition to the strands, at the cost of more memory. The hair controls are not on the top level "dForce Sea Salt", but one level down under "Sea Salt". That is also where you will find all the shaping controls.

    Glad to help. You will get the hang of it. Don't be afraid to explore the figure's hierarchy and the settings on the different tabs. These strand-based dForce hair are still fairly new.
