Anyone notice a difference in DS 4.12.1.118?

Saw where DS has a new update in DIM and was wondering if anyone has installed it yet and if it made any improvements in your rendering.

Are you sure you got the build number right?

Latest DS I see in DIM is - 4.12.2.6

Notice the 2 after the 12 and not a 1

That's the public beta. Current release version is 1.118.

...wish I could get the latest beta but the DIM is totally hosed for me as everytime it updates I have to redo all my install preferences, paths, and settings all over as well as fix issues with the manifest.JSON and .inii files each time. I also cannot use the "auto sign in" as it breaks the .ini file so I have to manually sign in each time.  I wrote a ticket on this months ago and the only advice I was given was to set up a new account which would mean eveyrthing I already installed would be back in the "Ready to Download" tab requiring having to sift through products I already downloaded and installed.

According to the change log this version simply includes fixes for the problems with shortcuts, which were already part of the latest beta.

If you create a new account I believe that you can import the Manifest files from the old one (or just point the new account to the existing ManifestFiles folder) so that your files will still show as installed.  At least as long as you don't change the path to the DS library where your products are installed, which is hard coded into the Manifest files.

Except that, on my Macbook (Catalina), at least, the keyboard shortcuts are still associated with crashes, even though the spurious render warnings do not occur.  I filed a problem ticket for the beta, and was told they couldn't reproduce the problem.  I will have to stick to 4.12.0.86 on my main iMac until they fix this.
