Dforce suddenly doesn't work for me anymore.
Okay, so, a while ago I was tryign to speed up Dforce and found a threaad that suggested some settings that really helped. I lef Daz for a while (didn't uninsall anythign, just stopped using it becasue I was doing other stuff) and when I came back I started having an issue where, using the same settings that worked for me previously, Daz now stops responing when simulation hits 1%. I'm running a Lenovo IdeaPad 340 Gaming with an Intel Core i5-9300H CPU@ 2.40 GHz with 8GB RAM and nvidia GEFORCE GTX GPU currently running the latest Studio Driver. Not the best machine for running something like this to begin with, I know, but as I said it was working fine just a few months ago. Below is the scene in question.
As you can see I've hidden all uneccesary items such as hair and other characters, so I really don't know what is going on.

Will it work if you just drape a 20-division plane over a sphere? Are you using the nVidia GPU (which is it?) as the OpenCL device?
Thank you for that. I have no idea how to do the first thing you said, but I switched the OpenCL device to my NVIDIA CUDA GeForce GTX 1050 and it seems to be runnign smoothly now. It must have somehow gotten switched since the last time I used Daz.
