Is there any way to fix CMS Sorting?

The DAZ Studio (4.12.1.118) CMS database does not sort correctly.  For example, when selecting "Sort by Last Update: Recent First) in the Smart Content pane, recently updated files do not appear at the top of the category list, only old product content from years ago.  You have to scroll down the list to find recently updated content all appearing in random locations in the list regardless of last update time stamp.

Is there any way to fix the sorting function of the CMS database?
